A quiet location but within easy access to the beach, golf courses, shops and other attractions, makes Valle Verde an ideal location for either your family holiday or a golfing break! Next door is the well known Restaurant \"El Golf\", also the famous Tamisa Golf Hotel around the corner, where you can relax at the poolside bar, or enjoy a meal in the restaurant or terrace. There is something for everyone on the coast - lively Fuengirola is just 5 minutes away (3km) and boasts many fine restaurants, water sports, beaches, a marina and an aquapark. La Cala (8km) is a seaside village, again with many restaurants, (including one of my favourites, Mijas Playa), few shops and a lovely beach, Sophisticated Marbella with its designer shops and jet-set Puerto Banus (the best place to people watch!) are only 25 minutes away. 5 minutes is all it will take to be on the first tee at Mijas Golf, several more courses including, La Cala, Miraflores, Santa Maria, Rio Real, El Chaparral etc are all within a 15 minute drive. The famous Lew Hoads Tennis club is only 10 minutes away and the Alhaurin Country Club with riding and tennis 10/15 minutes by car.
